Updated photo of this white flint material early 1850's telegraph " Elliot Hat " which was produced by Bennington ( VT ) Pottery Company. Were found on telegraph lines on Prince Edward Island in Canada ( Origin of this piece ) and around the Boston area. This one shows some wear to it, but still all intact.
