Very nice battery jar for sale. It is embossed: THE IMPROVED (in an arc)/ PATENTED/ POROUS CUP BATTERY CO./ NEW YORK/ PAT'D OCT 26 1886/ TRADE MARK/ C.J.H. (four stars around CJH). Thick and heavy, fulls of bubbles and some small black flake inclusions here and there. Glass is clean and clear and the condition is outstanding. Complete with the "guts". This is a real odd jar.
