Stayed in the York area after the CBIC show last weekend and hit a few antique stores on Sunday before coming home. Found a fair number of common insulators but did manage to pick up a few decent cheap ones. Left one is a fairly green Am Tel toll with a big crack across the back skirt. Right one is a dark yellow green or maybe 7 Up green Diamond CD 102 with a bunch of NGM bruises around the wire guide, funky folds pressed into the outside skirt, and the glass inside the skirt is misshapen as if someone grabbed it while it was hot. The color glows when you backlight it. |
