Here is an Ohio Brass 10-inch "Petticoat" style suspension/dead-end disk. These were a popular style in Northern California, back in the 1930's and 40's. And, they were durable enough, that many are still in service today. The sand-blast mark on this one indicates that it was produced in 1940. For a shot of 42 of these in service [id=317240372]
