Up for sale is this small accumulation of radio strains (8 insulators). These came from a local, London-area collection I picked through towards the end of last year. It didn't contain much, but I bought a few of the more interesting items and the owner included this small group of strains with the purchase since I had raised a brow at some of the more unusual pieces in the group. I have not seen close to half of these types in the area before. The JAPAN-stamped egg strain came from a different collection but I thought someone might appreciate it along with the rest of these.

As you can see, most of these have some small flakes as shown. From left to right: 1. The sloppy brown dry process strain at left has a couple other small flakes not shown on the opposite side, one about the same size as the larger one shown, and another about 1/4" wide. 2. The green one second from left looks good apart from the one 1/4" flake shown. 3. The white smooth-sided one has one 1/4" wide by 3/8" tall flat flake on one end. 4. The brown one in centre has a 1/2" long flake on the opposite side to that shown, and the 1/4" one shown. 5. Brown one front of centre has an elongate 1/4" by 1/2" flake off one of the holes at one end. 6. The white one has one 1/4" flake on one ridge and another on one end. 7. The JAPAN strain is seemingly mint. 8. Brown strain at the far right has the one 5/8" flake shown on one side.
