SOLD!

Here is a great group of battle damaged Canadian threadless.

All of these pieces have damage, but would be great placeholders, window pieces or sales stock.

Left to right:

Aqua M.T.Co. Nice shiny insulator. Sort of a teal-y influence to this piece, not your everyday aqua. Couple typical BB dings. Typical base flaking/chipping. T and Co are partially missing. Has two 1/2" clamshell chips. One is white and glass is still there, one has the glass missing. Skirt flake that is about 1.5" high, 2/4" wide and 1/8" thick. One other 1/2" base chip that has a 3/4" crack running from it. Overall, a nice shiny insulator that holds a place if you need this colour

Foster Bros 740: This is a resin repaired insulator, or "resin-ator" It has been made from pieces of 2 different insulators. The embossing does not match perfectly, and it even a little oval. Not the best repair ever, but when sitting up on a shelf if you turn it, it doesn't look half bad and can be a good placeholder for an expensive insulator you don't see everyday.

Nice aqua M.T. Co 742. Has a few BB dings on outside. Has very shallow annealing crack in surface(as seen in photo). Base has typical flaking these have. Top of M is missing due to flake. Has one 1.75" chip that takes out base edge. Chip is on a 45 degree angle and opens into a inch long bubble in skirt. Another chip right beside that is 3/4" wide, about 1/4" deep and 1 inch high. Good placeholder piece. Heck, a nice piece of Canadian history

Unembossed CD 742.3 rounddome. Super shiny CD 742.3 which has been aggressively tumbled. Flaking on base and chips on the skirt have been rounded off. Has flaking almost the whole way around the sharp base edge. Has BB dings. Has a 1 inch x 3/4 inch flake up the skirt, another 3/4 inch x 1.5 inch flake going from the base to the wire groove and a smaller 1/2 x 1/2 inch flake on skirt.

Blue Unembossed CD 742: Heavy mineral staining from being buried(I have put a coat of floor polish on it now that lessens that, it is easily washed off). Must have been soft glass, as all these blue 742s seem to have issues with that. Insulator has a number of BB dings and pings. Has one pinky nail sized chip out of the dome. Opposite side away from photo along mold line has large chip. Large flake into skirt goes from base to wire groove. About 1/4" deep and 1.25 inches wide. Also has base chip that is about 1/2" deep and 1.5"long. This chip came from being hit by a plow in the field. Both chips are attached and make the major damage into one area.

If you would like photos of these insulators by themselves, or more photos, I would be happy to supply that.

This is a great group for sales stock or if you just want some cheap Canadian threadless.

I am selling this group of 5 insulators for $340 USD plus actual shipping. I accept PayPal or personal check from any member of ICON, or e-transfer if you are from Canada.
