Up for sale this afternoon is a gorgeous Canadian CD 145, nicknamed the "Golden Boy" by many collectors. These are renowned for their vibrant straw and peach-coloured glass that sparkles in just about any light source. You won't find thicker glass around in these sorts of shades, which helps explain the reason for especially vibrant colour. These pieces came from Canadian Pacific lines, and I picked this one well over 12 years ago now! This example is the [010] No Embossing Canada type in a good straw shade, leaning slightly towards "yellow straw", but not quite there. The photos were taken in natural light, and accurately capture the depth of colour. This piece has a small black object embedded in the glass behind the wire groove on one side and a whole lot of straw marks on the side of the crown in that same area.

The condition of this piece is great, with the only damage being on a fin of overpoured glass that runs around the circumference of the base. A few rough spots on this overpour is the extent of the damage.

I'm now asking $14.00 US plus shipping for this brilliantly-coloured and extra chunky Canuck piece. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items.
