My husband Tod was buying insulators for me at an antique store while I was doing experimental baking (another of my hobbies) with a friend. Another customer struck up a conversation with him mentioning that he had about 4 dozen insulators that he got from an estate sale that he was trying to sell. We went out to see the insulators and bought the lot. Nothing really exciting, but some less common pieces. This and the next 6 photos show the more interesting of the pieces. This photo is of 2 marked Victor U-660A(?) in 2 different shades of brown, a Victor U-625 in a light yellow or fawn tan, perhaps (not sure of the color), a Franklin ESSCo Johhny Ball (left) with the Keystone/Circle mark, and a large unmarked football shaped Johnny Ball. |
