Brookfield signals, hives, hoops and tolls are known for having impurities in them. The amount of "junk-in-glass" varies and so does the amount someone will pay. It all depends on what the collector likes. The Highland, Calif. D.A. might walk right past this piece at a show where others might stop and say "WOW". -- This CD 162.1 "hat" style signal has most of its' amber in the dome and in the skirt at the right moldline. Bubbles, firebrick pieces, annealing lines and a little fold in the glass along the embossing all add character to this already cool old piece. The only damage that I see is a tiny clamshell chip on the rear lower W/G lip caused by a potstone burst. I think it's worth $15.00 + shipping. First email that says' "I'll take it.". No PayPal.
