Southern Power Transformer House in Dallas, NC.

Here is the inside of the transformer house built in 1907-ish in Dallas, NC. This one is interesting in that it still has the brick partition. The room inside the partition probably held switchgear, lightning protection devices, and fuses. The building was almost identical to the the building installed on 375 Woodlawn Avenue in Mt. Holly, NC. The inside was cleaned out of all evidence of it's intended purpose and had wooden pallets and car parts piled up inside of it.
