I found this wooden pin crossarm and pole near Randolph AFB. The telegraph and later telephone line ran from Sunset Station to somewhere in Galveston.

The line was wrecked out a few decades ago and the mess was thoroughly cleaned up, I've found only two insulators and one other crossarm worth taking home. This one survived behind a swampy soupy ditch and was a struggle to get out.
