Offered at a sale price today is my bluish lavenflower W.F.G. Co. toll glass insulator in near mint condition. I originally posted this on Sunday for sale at $225, and after inquiries but no takers, I'm offering this at a sale price of $195 shipped via USPS. Nice bubbles, crude, mostly shallow annealing lines throughout and only a couple issues. First is about a quarter inch small, shallow base flake as can be seen in the photo. There's also a smaller open base bubble to the left of the flake. Also, there's a noticeable annealing fracture about one-half inch long on the side at the base, curving up into the threads. It seems that these annealing fractures up from the base seem to be common in this color and some of the lavenders as well. This is not distracting, however, particularly when displayed as it is with the main embossing in front. It's a nice piece and the lavenflowers that lean towards cornflower seem to be more scarce than the ones leaning lavender. Light purple wisps in the dome, too in addition to the bubbles and surface creases add character. Anyway, email me if you're interested -- this is a color not commonly found in any other make. Thank you! First email.
