A steel cross arm still in service on a Pacific Power & Light 60,000 volt line near Rogue River, Oregon. The California Oregon Power Co. COPCO, was a predecessor of Pacific Power in this area and built their own steel cross arms of this type. Not many are left in use nowadays. My friend, Mid Norris is a lineman for this company and has pulled some from poles during rebuilding. He says, "They weigh a TON"!
