Here is a picture of a glass curtain ring. As you can see, it has a metal screw that protrudes out from the base. This screw allowed for it to be mounted to a wall or something similar. Once installed, the curtain draw cord could be inserted through the hole and tied off accordingly. It measures 2.0 inches tall by 1.25 inches wide at the base. Color is accurate. I have no idea as to its age nor who the manufacture was. Happy Holidays!
