Here's a Spanish CD 655 likely made from a reworked mold for a French L'Electro Verre CD 654.1 in an unlisted embossing: ESPERANZA S.A. (front) 93- E.V. (Reverse). Comes in a beautiful Green with only a half pinky nail flake on upper crown and tiny base tic mark. Measures the same size as a CD 654.1.

French glass insulators have been recovered in France with the E.V. embossing indicating likely French origins. For additional evidence [id=398794145]. A possible explanation is this was made as a joint venture product with L'Electro Verre, hence EV mark. French glass manufacturers are known to have other similar joint production insulators with other countries including Italy, Brazil and possibly Hungary.
