Here is a CD 145 two-date American EIN [040] (Dome) V (Base) AM. INSULATOR CO. N.Y. DOUBLE PETTICOAT/PAT'D SEPT. 13, 1881. NOV. 13, 1883. BE in a pretty blue aqua with light lines of amber from the skirt to the dome front and rear. A small base edge flake takes out the top half of CO. N., and there is a crack in the rear from the base to the dome. It does not transmit through the full thickness of the glass at any point, and I see no evidence of impact, so it may very well be from manufacture. Displays great from the front, as shown.
