Another historical insulator has been discovered!

This is a primitive multipart insulator produced by Richard-Ginori in the late 1800s for the Military Arsenal of Venice. Interesting is the porcelain cover for the pin, similar to some very old American specimens and initially studied to be mounted to stay leaned on the wood bracket. (Thanks to my friend Christian for the photos).
