This is my first attempt at a backlit display. Cheap was the name of this game, so the total materials cost is under $150, including the lights I have yet to order for the very top (to underlight large items).

The shelf is 72" high by 21" wide and 12" deep, 6" of which is usable space. The main body is knotty pine, with salvaged plywood backing anld plexiglass diffuser pieces. The lighting comes from 10 meters of 6500K LED strips, powered by a small 12 volt power brick.
