Telephone open wire lead traversed through this small New Hampshire community. Its construction appearance or "personality" is very similar to many other openwire lines owned by the New England Telephone and Telegraph Company owing to the crossarm appearance (as we see here) and "over the arm" 30-inch braces that the company almost always used. Many NET&T Co. lines like this one stood in service through the 60s in New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.
