This is the flat dome version. I'm not sure all 030 embossings have the flat tops but they all have the JAN 29 1884 patent as this one does. From what I gather that is an error.

This piece is on the crude side and has nice skirt bullbles on one side, some light milk in a couple areas and an oval shapoed underpiured inner skirt. Between the top of the dome and the top of the threads there is basically a big cavity without any glass. That would be something you would have to inspect with your finger if it is long enough.

The condition is is mint minus a shallow flake at the bottom of the skirt on one side. The overall size of that scallop shaped flake is less then 1/4". It dies not effect the base embossing at all. It so shallow I didn't even know it was there until I was taking my pics. If you notice a small piece of junk in my pic when zoom in that flake would be at the base of the skirt less the 1/2 inches to the left of that junk. If you need a close up to make a decision to buy just let me know. I've been using my iPhone to make my postings being it is less time consuming. But I will get you a puc with my regular camera and email it to you from my PC. I wiuld just hope this insulatir doesn't get away from you being the older pricess takes me some time getting back.
