This one is in great shape compared to most of the ones that came from the Richmond dig. It doesn't have that crackle effect seen with most of the ones that were in the fire. It has one scuff on the top that can be seen in the photo. The base has some glass that was removed about 1/2 the way around when the mold was opened up at the factory. This is fairly typical of many of the Confederate eggs and I don't really call it damage because it left the factory that way. Otherwise, the rest of the insulator is VNM. As for color, where does dark green stop and black glass green start? You be the judge. I am asking $500 shipped to the lower 48 USA. This is at the lower end of dark green and if it is black glass you are getting a real bargain. No PayPal. Checks or money orders accepted. Thanks for looking. Let me know if you have any questions.
