This American Base Embossed beehive was held as shown in this pic for around 45 years. I purchased it from a barn/garage sale by chance yesterday taking a different route home from a flea market where I came up empty handed. While talking with the now padt owner I learned that he cleaned up a great deal if threadless insulators in my area. He didn't have any left and most likely sold them at insulator shows years ago. The name Dave Ricketson sound familar to any of your old time collectors? More then likely he would have sold at the long gone Albany, New York shows.

BTW, really hated removing the train soot of this insulator being it was there fir so long. Just needed to see what it may have been hiding. See my next pic.
