As I was weighed down walking back to my parked car I was reminded of simular hot humid day at Parris Island S.C. going through Marine basic training. My backpack was very heavy on that trake back to the comfort of aircondition awaiting me. I'm just glad their was nobody to my rear pulling on my entrenching tool trying to keep up with everyone force marching ahead. As to the insulator shown there are a few one doesn't find everyday. The upside Hemi No.16 has a nice bubble. Also shown are a couple tough to find CD 106's. one is a NN No.9 and the other a snowy patented Hemi No9 with a shot of green amber on the front side. I guess most of you collectors know what all the rest of this batch are. I'll end this post telling you that I found my very first Lynchburg CD 162 signal with a smoothe base. It is a green aqua color. |
