This community is on the mainland side of the Cape Cod Canal which has two bridges that lead to Cape Cod. The electric utility serving this community (as well as neighboring ones and all of the Cape) at the time was the Cape and Vineyard Electric Company. Here we see a festive street scene typical of the magical fun 1950s with plenty of activity and colorful signs, storefronts, etc., abound ;-)
