This photo was taken right about where a main railroad line from Boston crossed the road. These openwire circuits led to the New England Telephone & Telegraph Company's office in the Bryantville section of Hanson. The latter was about two miles to the east; this line pararelled what is now known as MA SR 27 or Main Street in Hanson.
