Notice the dearth of early Denver tolls for sale at shows and on-line lately? Me too. Here's a dandy for you from my collection to yours. Factory mint. Only manufacturing flaws I see is the checked surface on the interior threads. That's it. No flakes, chips, dings, fish-eyes, flea-bites, nothing. And this one lacks the abundance of annealing lines that so many junky Denvers usually have. It's got carbony, milky junk floating in the glass throughout, and some wonderful foldy "worm lines" that meander on the surface. Wonderful character. The color? I'd call it silver, but there are also light lavender influences to the glass, too. If you specialize in these and this is one you need to fill this hole in your lineup, you'll wait a looooong time before you find one better. Collectors are buying these, then simply holding on to them -- that is why you see so few character Denver tolls for sale today. I'm asking $350 which includes shipping cost. Don't dally. I suspect it won't take long before this one is gooooone.
