An old lineman's road. These zig-zag across the rough terrain as close as they can to the poles. Many places are too rough for vehicles however and would have require a hike. This wooded stretch of line is 3/4 of a mile long with at least two dozen pole sites. Some of the poles were spaced very close together for no apparent reason. Leaf litter and new soil is deep so meticulous probing and luck will be necessary to find most of the glass.
