Although I somewhat I recall closely-spaced telephone openwire crossarms owned by New England Telephone during the mid-1960s, they somewhat were a rarity. I presume this might be a similar NET&T Co. example or the phone company who served this Vermont village was a non-Bell one. At any rate this is a great image with some of the glass insulators sparking in the sunshine ;-)
