Re-visited an abandoned early line in Massachusetts this week. Scratched around some of the pole sites half-heartidly turning over about a dozen busted AM. TEL tolls with the front and rear crown embossing. At the last pole site I know of, I spotted this toll sitting right on the surface in a wet spring seep. The O is small, raised a bit with the period underneath. Front crown SN 5.

Also found a few broken NEW ENG. 104's MLOD with the 0 embossed on the crown.
