Two more from my estate collection purchases. The first is an amber topped dark aqua Brookfield hoopskirt with a rounded based (MLOB). The amber flows down to the skirt, two white rocks one in the front and the other in the back. What looks like a tadpole is actually a stringy bubble that opened to the outside on one end and gradually filled with silt. There is a scallop dome chip on the dome that is probably the cause for the opening of the bubble (visible in the second photo). SOLD The second insulator is a light aqua Harloe beehive from Hawley, PA, CD 145, This one has a large enough underpour of the front skirt that it goes into some of the embossing. There is a very long and oblong bubble that circumnavigates the entire insulator. Its location along the wire groove makes it difficult to see in parts so I have accentuated it by sticking some Styrofoam peanuts in the bubble which opens to the inside. There is no milk or rock in the Harloe beehive. There is a small 1/2 inch crack in the inner skirt visible in the second photo. Nex photo [id=439494867] SOLD Asking $15.00 plus shipping |
