Acquired from the estate of a Pacific Gas & Electric lineman who lived near the route of the historic Bay Counties Power Co. Colgate-Oakland power transmission line. The porcelain platter was professionally repaired by Paul Greaves. Here is a link to the original find showing the crown damage. Next [id=399416357]

Paul had a guttertop collar fragment with a matching glaze that he reshaped to fit the 1/3 missing gap in my guttertop collar. He also rebuilt the left side crown and colored it to match the rest of the platter. The glass base is in near perfect condition with just a shallow open bubble on the base. The platter also has the typical flaking of the porcelain along the bottom edge. The damage and repairs are visible in the next photos. I apologize if you can't see the repair work. Paul Greaves' work is scary good. We on the west coast often have to ask Paul where exactly was the repair done.

Asking $850.00 plus shipping. Can hand deliver the guttertop to the National. If I hand deliver the insulator you will save over $90 + in priority shipping expenses.
