New York City NYC, 1870s Tall Telegraph Pole That Stood Along Broadway

This pole probably had early threaded insulators upon it and its wires connecting a central telegraphers' office with much of the northeastern United States. Unfornutately this is a side-view not showing the exact type of pole line construction and other detail. However it is a nice example of the telegraph poles that stood along New York City streets.
