The Fort Caspar Museum in Casper, WY commissioned the production of a limited number of CD 723 Wade style insulators. At the time the museum was reconstructing a period telegraph office. The exterior of the insulators were made to exact measurements and color from actual Wade insulators. They are clearly embossed FTC 2013 at the base of the insulator. The surplus insulators that were produced have been sold to help raise funds for the operating costs of the museum. If you would like an example of the style of insulator that was used in the old west here is your opportunity. I'm asking just $50.00 plus the actual shipping cost. Check, money order or PayPal, no fee are all acceptable. |
