I bought this at a local bottle show today. Can anyone tell me if this is actually an insulator? I've included a CD 102 in this picture to give an idea of the size. I'll post 2 more views of it.

OK, I answered my own question by Internet searching. I guess this is a Sediver Shackle insulator, made in France and relatively modern. http://www.glassian.org/Sediver/1970/page22.html

Not sure if anyone collects this type. Does anyone know if these were used in the US or would someone had to have brought it from France as a collectible?
