Here's a rarely seen CD 1052 St Louis Malleable Casting Co St Louis Mo (base embossed) spool in a killer Yellow Amber. This is much stronger yellow color than most of these- close to a Dark Yellow. Also embossed "D-518 . 2A " (lower skirt) Made in U.S.A. (reverse lower skirt). Small chip removes "I" in embossing.and two outer rim base chips [id=426031792]. Light scruffing on front half of insulator and evidence it may have been partially buried. Light nibbling on outside of extended inner skirt and light pinhole roughness when cap was punched out prior to use. Displays VNM. Strict 5000K full-spectrum lighting.
