In this picture the temporary power house/factory has not long been built. Aluminium, as well as power, was produced here until the main factory was up and running. The power line can be seen climbing the mountain in the far left of the picture. The poles are of a very early 'A' frame design with two arms, each carrying four wires. The insulators are large Johnson and Phillips one piece types.
