I was able to take a trip with coworkers to Tokyo, Japan. Before I went, I contacted NGK insulators and asked if they had any insulators I could buy, and this is what I got! Had a great trip, and topped it off with this insulator. Walking around Tokyo and looking at the poles, most of the insulators have this red strip on them. I first thought the red strip was for marking lines, but with almost all having it, I wonder if it is for something else?
