My brother and I walked this line repeatedly from 1973-77 but always left the insulators as the were big, common, and heavy. Out of curiosity, I went back today. There are still 50 or so of these laying from 1972. I thought by now they would be gone or shot up. This line was built on an old trolley line and we did find lots of good glass back in the day including Hemi-95's and a few Tillotson's
