Phone openwire circuits looked like the rule on the left side of this unpaved road that passed through this Vermont village 110 years ago; complemented by electric distribution lines along the right. Quite possibly double-circuit, three-phase high voltage transmission wires were strung atop this line judging by the type of its pole-line construction and large glass insulators. |
