One of the most fun days I've had in quite a while! Bob Harding and myself got together and went insulator hunting...THREADLESS that is! A day filled with tracking the line in his car, stopping to ask individuals if we could hunt their property and finding amazing pieces like these! Bob has so much knowledge and experience...just tried to soak it all in. What's the saying, "beginners luck"...glad it was on my side as I pulled a Super bubbly/gunky/crude orange amber and green 718 Tillotsons from a field that had been plowed....sitting about 8 ft apart! The embossing on the green one must have been on the other side… In person you can see the faint embossing of Tillotson/16/Broadway/NY on the amber one. Bob said he believes there is only one other like this...that he found in that same field more than a decade ago! Enjoy!!!! And again a special thanks to Bob! Oh yeah, and a few shards of 731s and 126.3s. Bob took a video of me digging them, I will have to post that once he sends it to me! |
