Since the ground is still quit frozen here, my "Finds" are from eBay, Pole Cat show in Enfield, eBay again, and Enfield again respectively: 1) Nice ( what I think) is a [095] type II star blob as in Brent Burger's excellent article in crown Jewels Feb 2015. Trying to get an eye for profiles, but it can be pretty subtle sometimes. Was majorly happy about it's color. eBay pic showed much less yellow (on my monitor) Was really happy to win the auction so low just after the article,????. 2) Nice big light aqua So Mass Tel Co 102 from Enfield show. Lived in Mass as a kid, like it! While at the the show, thought I overheard someone say they lost the auction for 3). VTS Industries 102ish thingy in what I thought was just a bad eBay photo, but turns out to be dark ruby leaning toward black glass, one of the things I found interesting in the auction photo was that there appear to be wire rubs in the groove, and thought it'd be kind of neat if someone had gotten it free back in the day, and used it on an electric fence or something. ( kind of blurs the line between real insulators and these things). 4) from show, 102 Hawley, who doesn't like that crazy logo?
