Here we have A lone CP AC4400 trundling north in Sturtevant, WI, hauling an empty grain train back to Canada, on Sunday, 24NOV2002.

This is on the ex-Milwaukee Road Chicago-Milwaukee mainline, which, interestingly enough, still has jointed rail up toward Milwaukee.

While Sturtevant isn't the busiest place in the world, I've met rail fans from all over the world here. The best part is, the 105 year old station is STILL used for Amtrak! (For those who know the place: They got the heater working again.)

When it was all said and done we got 31/2 inches of snow..

Now, 2 days later, we got about 3 or 4 more inches of lake effect snow, on top of the other (Sturtevant is about 7 miles west of Lake Michigan).

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
