This insulator has been extensively used by the Southern Power Co. between 1907-1912. The one shown is the only whole M-3472 in the hobby used at the Ninety-Nine Islands hydroelectric plant built 1908-1909 [id=429285050].

Mike Green and I also found yellow specimens we plan to repair. The underside of the middle skirt is marked THOMASO.
