My first real roadtrip this year took me from snowy New York to snowier Massachusetts. In fact I was stuck in a driveway about 100 yards away from the two CD 325s shown in this pick. That was over in Shutesbury where there was at least two feet of snow on the ground. Only about six inches of that was fresh. One of those Corning/Pyrex 401's has a wooden display base that is ink stamped on the bottom side by the lineman who was planning to make a lamp, Fortunately he didn't get to the point of drilling a hole in the very cool power piece before he died a few years ago, The 325's and all the dirtier smaller insulators were craigslist finds. Stoped by a couple antique shops in the Brimfield area for the remaining insulators, The AT&T Co and Brookfield CD 121's will fit in my collection well. The yellow green AT&T has the straighter skirt with an XO at the top. Haven't got that one in the Brookfield blot out model yet so that leaves me something to search for. Both the carnival CD 235's are chip and crack free very near mint. Don't plan on holding on to them all that long. They are heavy and I don't look forward to passing along shipping charges to a buyer in the future. But on the other hand it does still cost me quite a bit in gas to take my journeys. That's even if that cost is somewhat less the 2014 this time. Anyway. hope you enjoyed the pic and my adventure. My trip also took me to Flitchbury,
