Was finally able to get out of town for a couple hours between the 16 below and the ? feet of snow. 24$ doesn't buy Manhattan Island anymore, but did get a 145 CREB [230] 18 on dome and bubbles, a 102 SKEB green, a 104 NET in green, and the most massive NET 104 [100] ( two backwards Ns) I've ever seen. This thing must be the Grand Daddy of all 104s as it weighs in at over a pound!!- that's a LOT for a CD 104 as many of mine are in the 10-11-12 oz. range, and the next closest I have weigh 13.9 oz..( a two ounce difference in such a small design is significant) Its skirt measures 0.45" thick at the base and it just gets thicker. The base of the insulator is 2.81 inches measured w/ digital calipers ( book says 2.5") I don't think it's a slumper either as it's as tall as most of the other 104s I have. I compared it to my other two 104 NET [100]s ( two backward Ns) and found that there were definitely THREE molds that had two backward Ns!. ( by placement and distances of lettering)Maybe that's why I have three of these, and have never seen the one with backwards Es. I may not understand 'em, but I can find 'em. |
