Up for sale is a seemingly unlisted CD 35 E S B Co battery rest. While it's been pointed out to me that this style is a known variant, there isn't currently a listing for it in the guide. The embossing reads:

(F-skirt) THE E S B CO (R-skirt) MADE IN U S A (Under Crown) B - / 16016 / -3

With the style number embossed at the top of the inside of the cavity in the centre of the piece. This one came out of a lineman's collection in London, ON last summer. It was the only battery rest type insulator, and may have been used in a Bell telephone application, as that was the company that the fellow who had it worked for.

The condition of this example is excellent. I see one 1/8" fisheye on the rear skirt edge, and two 1/8" pings on the edge of the top of the crown, possibly even inflicted when the top edge was ground to create a flat surface.
