Up for sale is a heavily amber-swirled Brookfield CD 164 with SDP. These SDP Brookie signals aren't too commonly come by to begin with, and with nice swirling like this much less so. A solid green-coloured swath runs from the front crown down the rear crown and into the rear skirt, giving this piece a pretty well-defined two-tone effect, with the remainder of the piece being a normal aqua colour. In addition to the amber swirling, there are several potstone chunks throughout, as well as an amber tadpole in the front crown. All in all, a pretty cool character piece that came out of use in Toronto, ON last year. The condition of this piece is alright, but could certainly be better. The main issue is a 1" wide base bruise on the right side of the front skirt, which affects three drips. As well, there are 2 slightly nicked drips on the front skirt, There are four partially nicked drips on the rear skirt, one of them expanding into a slightly wider inner base edge flake, which is all but invisible from the outside. As well, there is a popped potstone in the front dome that is about 1/4" wide. All in all, it's generally not bad, except for that front base edge bruise. I'm asking $14 US plus shipping for this excellent two-tone SDP Brookfield piece. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items. |
