A lineman for the South Shore Interurban was selling his railroad stuff including insulators on January 31, 2015 in La Porte, IN. That was the same day as the Crown Point, IN swap meet for the Greater Chicago Insulator club and I ended up going to the auction. Robert Winkler bought most of the bigger Lapps for a project to create a restored interurban line. He needed these because of their bigger pinhole. I have one of these so decided not to compete against him on them.
