A lineman for the South Shore Interurban was selling his railroad stuff including insulators on January 31, 2015 in La Porte, IN. That was the same day as the Crown Point, IN swap meet for the Greater Chicago Insulator club and I ended up going to the auction. I'm sure I overpaid for this piece but I liked the big and open bubble in the dome. There is a hard to see chip on the wire ridge.
