A lineman for the South Shore Interurban was selling his railroad stuff including insulators on January 31, 2015 in La Porte, IN. That was the same day as the Crown Point, IN swap meet for the Greater Chicago Insulator club and I ended up going to the auction. I don't have the CD for this off hand but I remember it booked for $600-700. There is a big wack out of the back so I was only prepared to bid about $100 but I got carried away and ran it up to over $200 before dropping out. Dave Ramp took it home.
